Meet Award-Winning Composer & Multi-Instrumentalist

Classically trained since the age of 5, a relationship with music comes intrinsically for award winning film composer, and producer- Alex Csillag. Graduating from Berklee with a degree in Film Composition, he transitioned easily back to his native Los Angeles to become a high demand trombonist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and arranger for a multitude of genres from Funk, Classical, Hip-Hop, Rock, Horror, EDM, and everything in between.

Over the years, Alex contributed his talents to notable artists including Jill Scott, Raye, Save Ferris, Leslie Odom Jr., The Neighborhood, Brass Tracks, and most recently featured as a band performer on NPRs Tiny Desk and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon along side top artist, Denzel Curry.

Currently, he serves Sync Licensing, Film Composition, Audiobook and Podcasting clients via his private studio, “Pitch’n Sync,” located in industry famed Burbank, California- with recent placements in James Cullen Bressack directed horror movie, “Darkness of Man” featuring Jean-Claude Van Damme, and full commercial composition for popular energy drink, “No Beetz.”

Working with respected artists, driven newcomers, established corporations and contributing towards successful project outcomes, is his primary focus in the coming years. Alex lives in Los Angeles with his wife and stepdaughter and best goodest 3 year old dog, Sir Barrington McCoy.
